Danny,

I remember you telling a story about how you were jumping a ramp with a bike and managed to flip yourself and land on your head. I was not able to hear the full story and have been trying to search for it ever since. Can you help me find your exciting story?

Blessings,
Ed

Michele Okirmura, Poem on Cd my sister Carri gave me a copy of today. We listened to it several times on our long drive home from the hospital last Saturday. I have been desiring to dance for a long time, even before I got sick. I have never been one to be graceful, pretty, beautiful in my movements. I am a robust, take them down kind of girl, but I have always loved ballet, dancing of any kind. It is strange what kind of memories and desires come up once you have become sick and you realize when will I be able to do these things. Right now, I am not physically capable of dancing, but when I do I will be dancing in my own manner and to my own hearts desire than trying to be visual pleasing to others around me.

Dear Danny,

Mahalo for your episode with Bob and Colleen Paparelli. After having gone through a series of trials in the past few years, I have been blessed with the opportunity to attempt a relocation from Los Angeles to Honolulu through an inheritance from a late aunt and by returning to college to train for a new career. I visited Oahu twice this year and fell in love with the island, and have begun taking concrete steps toward a possible move.

Well-meaning people in my church think I have lost my mind, and a few friends have said I'm bananas. On a Honolulu website, a local told me to stay on the mainland because I'm not wanted in Hawaii. All I did was go public with my investigating the possibility of moving to your state--it may never happen if it's not God's will--and already I've been doomed to failure and predicted I'll be unemployed and homeless in Oahu. Sheesh.

The story of the Paparellis has inspired and convinced me that it's worth taking a bold step of faith when others say I'm nuts, especially when I'm being realistic about making myself employable and checking out the local job market for the viability of such a move. Please pray that I would yield to God's will on whatever His plans for me are on this possible move.

Aloha and agape,
Rich Rodriguez
