How did God bring a woman to Hawaii, who was born in Brazil, who speaks Portuguese, English, Japanese, and French, and is an accomplished pianist? This is the story of Janete Fujiki and Gay Hongo, who join us to talk about the Hongo Music Center and a miracle in Alameda, California.
Gay Hongo is the co-founder, president, and chair of Christian Vision. She is a singer, music minister, and worship leader. She and her husband, Randy Hongo started Christian Vision over 40 years ago. Gay is the proud grandmother of Paul and Naomi Pualani, the children of Andrew and Dr. Meaghan Hongo. Janete Fujiki is the new executive director of the Hongo Music Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is married to Peter. They have two sons, Calvin and Winton.
