Sheryl Gruber was born in Des Moines, Iowa. She gave her life to Jesus Christ at five years old and attended the same Assemblies of God Church until she left for college. While at Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri she met her husband Tim Gruber. Upon graduation they became Youth Pastors in Coffeeville, Kansas. They later moved to Detroit, Michigan and helped plant an inner city church before planting a church of their own. Sheryl and Tim eventually moved to Hawaii where they were blessed with the birth of their son, Michael. They served as pastors of Hope Chapel Mililani before serving at Hope Chapel Kapolei. They currently minister at Hope Chapel Mililani. Sheryl serves as the Assisting Pastor with Senior Pastor Tim Greseth. She is ordained with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel.
This year Sheryl was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She describes how her relationship with Christ has strengthened her with hope.
Psalm 118:8 “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”
