How does a terrible student in high school who barely graduated, whose life dramatically changed with an interest in medicine at a community college, become nationally known for his work on the American presidency? How did he become internationally recognized for his work on Ronald Reagan, the Cold War and Communism? This is the story of Dr. Paul Kengor author of A Pope and a President: John Paul II, Ronald Reagan, and the Extraordinary Untold Story of the 20th Century (2017).
Dr. Paul Kengor is Senior Director and Chief Academic Fellow for The Institute for Faith and Freedom and Professor of Political Science at Grove City College. He is a Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution, and Peace at Stanford University. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Pittsburgh where he also graduated with his bachelor’s degree, and a master’s from American University. He is married to Susan. They have eight children, two of which are adopted.
