Have you ever wondered whether a single gospel tract left on a table or park bench could really make the difference in someone’s life? It did for Moody Bible Institute’s president, Dr. Paul Nyquist. It’s a seed that was planted in his heart that God has caused to grow in such a way that under his leadership at Moody Bible Institute, millions are impacted with the message of Jesus Christ every day. He joins us from Chicago along with my good friend Rick Rogers (who is the Regional Representative of Moody Bible Institute).
Dr. Paul Nyquist has been the president of Moody Bible Institute since 2009 and has lead the organization with the strong vision of going “across the globe, cultures and generations, to equip people with the truth of God’s Word, using new technology, in an agile and innovative community.” Moody is well known for its undergraduate school, theological seminary, and distance learning; along with media ministries that include Moody Radio and Moody Publishers. Dr. Nyquist graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies and he received a Th.M. and a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is author of There Is No Time, and his recent book which was released in February of 2013, The Post-Church Christian, is a generational dialogue between him and his son, Carson, on faith, leadership, and the future of the church. He and his wife, Cheryl, have been married for 32 years and are the parents of four grown children, three of whom attended Moody Bible Institute.
Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
