About Today’s Episode:

Henry David Thoreau once wrote, “Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake.” Isn’t that something? Living your dreams. Kathy Thurston has heard the naysayers. She has been doubted, challenged and has done much more than push forward. She has risen to the top. Her dreams have come true. They continue to do so. Life keeps getting better. You’ll learn why. She is the owner of one of Hawaii’s leading contracting companies shares her experiences with us.

About Today’s Guest:

Kathy Thurston is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools. In her career, where gender is often an obstacle, the obtuse presence of testosterone laden sweat driven pushiness has been delicately removed by the strong feminine qualities and adept skills in the construction industry she has possessed. “If men can do this, why can’t I?” Her extreme dedication and many hours of hard work has lifted the company to increased revenues awarded by large contracts and has provided jobs for many. She is a strong woman of faith. She’s married to Charley. They are parents and grandparents and members at New Hope Oahu.
