How does your perspective on life change when you learn about a serious personal health condition? (Update, shortly after this episode, Sumo Sato passed away.)
Blaine “Sumo” Sato was raised in Hawaii. A modern day renaissance man, he is a chef, a musician, a waterman, a pastor, a coach, a motivational speaker and a family man. Sumo is passionate about serving the Lord and loving people. Ever wonder, how is it that Jesus is so real to someone? So much so, that you feel the presence of Christ when you are with that person? It is what many feel when they are with Sumo. He is with us by phone from southern California.
Sumo Sato lives in Huntington Beach and pastors H2O Community Church. He is also chaplain to the local fire department and lifeguard association. He is married to Diane. They have two children: Taylor and Micah. This is a prerecorded interview…Sumo Sato went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2018. While some of the details may be dated the heart of Sumo Sato’s message remains and we want to share it with you.
Psalm 90:12 “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
