How does God take a boy from the “gang capitol of the World” to become a player for the NFL, businessman and pastor? This is the story of Cedrick Brown. A story of athletics, faith, and decisions that display the merciful power and grace of God.
Cedrick Brown is the founding pastor of Commitment Community Church in Lindenwold, New Jersey. He graduated from Washington State University where he starred as a defensive back while majoring in Hotel & Restaurant Management. He played for the legendary coach “Buddy” Ryan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He also earned a bachelors from Philadelphia Biblical University and a master’s and doctorate from Slidell Baptist Seminary. He’s married to Lisa. They have three children: Joshua, Jessica, and Jaime.
