How does God lead a Fulbright scholar who lived in Bangladesh to research educational programs of the landless poor to become president of one of the world’s premier Christian universities? This is the story of Barry Corey, a story of one who loves kindness, who came from a heritage of kindness.
Dr. Barry Corey became the eighth president of Biola University in 2007. A Massachusetts native, he came to Biola from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is the author of Make the Most of It: A Guide to Loving Your College Years (2020) and Love Kindness: Discover the Power of Forgotten Christian Virtue (2016). He and his wife, Paula, have a daughter, two sons, and a daughter-in-law.
