Why would God have a boy from Seoul, Korea immigrate to the U.S. at the age of 5 – grew up in the Southern California eventually serve in the U.S. Army and today minister as a pastor and coordinator in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? This is the story of Ed Choi – who acknowledges Christ as his hope!
Ed Choi graduated from Biola University with a degree in Biblical Studies and Golden Gate Theological Seminary. In January 2001, he was commissioned as a Chaplain in the Army and served until September of 2013 when he was medically retired as a Major with an Honorable Discharge. He serves as a pastor in Seattle and works as the Veteran Coordinator of King County, Seattle WA for the PTSD Foundation of America. He’s married to Kathryn. They have four children: Titus, Faythe, Emily, and Christian.
