What do ripe peaches, well-painted homes, interesting history lectures, challenging exams, thoughtful Sunday school lessons, contented grandchildren, and happy neighbors tell us about God and immigration? This is the story of Dr. Ruth Melkonian-Hoover who lives out a legacy, one that continues to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
Dr. Ruth Melkonian-Hoover is a professor in the Political Science Department at Gordon College. She graduated from Biola University before earning her M.A. and Ph.D. from Emory University. With Lyman Kellstedt, she co-authored Evangelicals and Immigration: Fault Lines Among the Faithful (2019).
