Og Mandino stated, “Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later.” Our guest today, Pete Anderson, is a man who is making a difference for the Lord in the lives of many here and abroad…good seed and harvest.
Biography: Dr. Pete Anderson’s background has uniquely enabled him to minister in Hawaii. After graduating from King College in Bristol, Tennessee, he served with the United States Army. He received a master’s degree in counseling from the University of North Carolina and served as a missionary to Mexico. He graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia in 1977 and Pastor Pete and his wife, Martha, moved to Hawaii. Together, they founded Trinity Church Windward in Kailua. In addition, he has served as the director of Trinity Christian Counseling Center and they founded Trinity Christian School. Pastor Pete received his doctorate from the International Graduate School of Theology. In 1995 he became the founding pastor Trinity Church Central Oahu. Pastor Pete’s passion is planting churches in the Hawaiian Islands to reach the unchurched here with the transforming message of the Gospel of Christ.
About Today’s Episode:
Pastor Pete also has a real love for the people of Uganda, and in recent years has traveled there annually to help in the planting and growth of new churches. He is also an active member in the Rotary Club of Mililani Sunrise. Martha is a counselor for Kindergarten and First Grade at Mililani Mauka Elementary School. She received the M.Ed. from the University of Virginia. Pastor Pete and Martha have two grown daughters, Katie and Carrie.
