
Christopher and Shannon Clark have encountered some of the most difficult trials when it comes to fighting cancer. They are a military couple. Christopher Clark is a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Army having served in combat both in Iraq and Afghanistan and continues to hold a position in the U.S. government. Shannon Clark works at Tripler Army Medical Center in the manage care division. She is a cancer survivor.
It’s been said, “Man can live about forty days without food, about three days without water, about eight minutes without air, but only for one second without hope.” Hope. It is what helps us wake up every morning with anticipation that today will be better than yesterday, that maybe our situation will change, or that somehow, we’ll have an idea or meet somebody to help get us where we want to be. But, what happens to a woman who loves Jesus and loves her husband and has heard news that devastates the glimmering hopes of females? Shannon and Chris are two heroes whom the Lord will use to inspire you and fill you with hope.
