Joyce Kawakami is the Founder, CEO and Executive Director of “Feed My Sheep” which is a faith based non-profit organization that seeks to care for the poor. FMS has been in existence for over 12 years with a client base of over 9500 people giving the equivalent of over 100,000 meals monthly.
Joyce Kawakami has been married to Myles Kawakami for 31 years. Together, they have owned Hawaiian Carpet One, Hawaiian Ceramic Tile for 30 years on the Island of Maui. She is a proud mother see three adult children who love and serve the Lord, Maile, Kekoa, and Keli’i. Her activities include membership and leadership at Grace Bible Church Maui, Co-founder of Pray Maui, founding member of Pastors for Housing Local People and Hawai’i Alliance of Non-Profit Organizations. She is also a member of Maui Homeless Alliance and Maui Christian Ministers Association, is the past President of Maui Contractor’s Women’s Auxiliary, and a past Maui Director for Totally In Christ (TNC) Youth Drama Team.
