New Hope Diamond Head

Are you overwhelmed with pressure? H.W. Beecher said, “Every tomorrow has two handles. We can take hold of it with the handle of anxiety or the handle of faith.” Pastor Fernando Castillo knows the importance of faith in the face of life’s rough spots. He candidly describes how he learned about it.

Biography: Pastor Fernando Castillo is the Senior Pastor of New Hope Diamond Head. He was born and raised in Colombia (South America). After finishing Architecture school in Colombia, Pastor Fernando followed the call for full time ministry. He attended Life Pacific College in Los Angeles. He came to Hawaii in 2002 to become the youth pastor at New Hope Christian Fellowship. Pastor Fernando has been married to Karen since 1999. They were both born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. They have two boys, Daniel and David. He loves to play squash, ride motorcycles and coach his son’s soccer team.
