Rick Rogers is the Regional Representative for Moody Bible Institute (Hawaii, California, Nevada and Oregon) plus much more including broadcasting, publishing missions aviation. There are 40,000 alumni right now from Moody serving the Lord around the globe. Mr. Moody, a simple man, preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to over and estimated 100,000,000 without television or radio.
John Bunyan wrote the classic book, Pilgrim’s Progress. If your read it today the transcendent biblical truths will impact your life in the 21st century. Bunyan was so immersed in the Word of God, Charles Spurgeon said, “If you cut him, he would bleed Scripture.” Today, Rick Rogers has brought someone we’ve admired and respected for many years. You could say the same about him as a leader and faithful expositor of God’s word. Dr. Rick Bartosik Is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Trinity International University and Dallas Theological Seminary. He graduated from Dallas Seminary with a Master of Theology degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree earning the John G. Mitchell Award for outstanding scholarship and effectiveness in ministry.
Dr. Bartosik came to Hawaii in 1977 to pioneer the Hawaii prison ministry of the Good News Jail and Prison Ministry. He was a chaplain for our state prison system from 1977 to 1990, serving as Senior Chaplain for the Corrections Division of the State of Hawaii, and Regional Director of the Good News Jail and Prison Ministry. A comprehensive ministry of the gospel was developed in Hawaii prisons consisting of a dynamic inmate church, more than 500 volunteers from 80 local churches, and a team of four full-time Good News Jail and Prison Ministry chaplains. He received an honorary certificate of recognition from the Hawaii State House of Representatives for his leadership role in the Hawaii Prison System. Rick served as Dean of International College and Graduate School and also taught pastors and Christian leaders in Korea and Russia. He is the Senior Pastor of Mililani Community Church a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America where he serves on the Board of the Hawaii District. Rick is married to Diane. They have one son David. Rick and David enjoy father/son fly-fishing trips to Montana during summer vacations.
