
The legendary UCLA coach John Wooden said, “It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.” Rebecca Dew is tall in stature. Her height and ability in athletics is a reflection of her attention to details resulting in academic and athletic achievements. Such successes are an extension of her inner life, her life of faith. She is with us to share the difference her faith in Christ has made and how it has affected others.
Biography: Rebecca Dew is a Junior at the University of Hawaii. She is the center for the UH Women’s basketball team. She was named all-WAC academic two years in a row and has had a stellar collegiate career. A 2008 graduate of Family Christian Academy in Madison, Tennessee she helped her team win the 2006 New Zealand Nationals. Rebecca was her high school class valedictorian, received Chancellor’s Scholarship and two academic awards from Every Nation Leadership Institute. She has extensive international experience in basketball playing throughout Asia.
