Pastor Sarah Aranio was born and raised in Alexandria, Minnesota. She graduated from North Central Bible College in 1981, and in 1983, came to Hawai’i on a short-term Missions trip to Kaua’i. That experience led to her returning to Hawai’i to serve as a youth pastor on that island for four years, and was the opportunity for her to meet her future husband, Colan. They married and moved to O’ahu for Sarah to serve as Assistant Pastor at Paradise Chapel in Ma’ili with George Nagato, where both Sarah and Colan were youth leaders and worship leaders.
After 20 years at Paradise Chapel, Sarah became pastor at Wahiawa Assembly of God, where she has served for 6-1/2 years. Pastor Sarah’s passion for ministry is in worship and teaching the Word of God. She loves seeing people draw closer to the Lord, grow in Him, become involved in ministry and flourish in it, and change their world for God! Sarah and Colan have two adopted children: Justice, who is 15 and a sophomore at Leilehua High School, and Lana, who is 14 and in eighth grade at Wahiawa Middle School
1 Chronicles 16:23-24 “Sing to God, everyone and everything! Get out his salvation news every day! Publish his glory among the godless nations, his wonders to all races and religions.”
