What does it feel like to grow up in a church and leave and seventeen never expecting to return and years later to return to that same church a member of the pastoral staff? This is the story of Pastor Chris Morales of Nuuanu Baptist Church.
Juan and Christina Balila are the senior pastors of Grace Central, a church they planted in 2013. Juan earned a master’s in counseling and bachelor’s in theater at the University of Hawaii. They have five boys and one hanai son who is two years old.
