Recovering from Abuse and Addiction
James Webb

Sexual abuse is pervasive in society today. Media coverage only touches the surface of the sordid activities done in secret. What’s worse is that sometimes instances occur in the context of church environments with respected leaders who take advantage of innocent children. The effects are heartbreaking. Attempts to quell the pain often come in the form of drug addiction which eventually leads to imprisonment. How does a victim who becomes an addict experience recovery, new hope and a fresh start? For anyone who has suffered abuse and the downward spiral that often takes place as a result, the story of James Webb will bring you hope. James shares his deepest pain and struggles. He also shares how Christ has restored him and given him a beautiful wife and family and a renewed calling to fulfill his destiny in ministry to hurting people, especially youth.

“He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3
