Robert L. Woodson, Sr. is Founder and President of the Woodson Center and 1776 Unites. He is a civil rights activist and an influential leader on issues of poverty alleviation and empowering disadvantaged communities to become agents of their own uplift. Woodson is a frequent advisor to government officials ,business and philanthropic organizations and is frequently featured as a social commentator on C-SPAN, CNN,Tucker Carlson Tonight, Life, Liberty and Levin, and other national and local broadcasts. He and his wife Ellen have four children and live in Maryland.
