
What would you do if you were on death row? It is known as a place where prisoners face legal challenges, family strains and all the while facing their mortality. In the feature film, The Last Appeal, Titus Freeman enters death row working the legal system to escape his sentence but discovers a new life beyond the grave. Titus’ victim’s wife Trisha works the legal system to enforce his execution. Her ambition covers a darker secret that only her late husband knew about. It is not until this life-altering secret is exposed that Trisha can escape a prison of her own.
Trey and Ariel Fernald recently executive produced, wrote and co-directed The Last Appeal, feature film traveling around the world through television, Video On Demand, DVD and outreach screenings. Trey Fernald has written, directed and produced over one hundred dramatic pieces for the stage and screen. Trey and Ariel, founders of Eastern Sky Theater Company, received their degrees at Chapman University where they studied sociology, media, theatre and film. They reside with their three children in North Los Angeles County.
