Michelle grew up in one of the urban poor communities in Manila, Philippines. Through the ministry of Compassion International, she was able to get through school and finished with a degree in Communication Arts at the University of Santo Tomas.
Michelle Tolentino was the marketing director of Trumpets, Inc., the first gospel theater in Asia for six years. In 2008 she was awarded a full-ride scholarship at the Moody Theological Seminary and Graduate School (Moody Bible Institute) in Chicago, Illinois and graduated with a Masters Degree in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship with Highest Honors in 2011. She speaks and travels all over the world advocating for women and children at risk. In 2011, she co-founded Made In Hope, a non-profit organization aims to empower women and children who have been rescued from prostitution and trafficking in the Philippines.
