What happens when a man who grew up in the Maryland DC suburbs becomes serious about his Christian faith through the love and discipleship of faithful brothers and sisters in Christ? This is the journey of Glen Comiso. A story with the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower shortly after the Twin Towers collapsed on September 11, 2001. A man who, according to Matthew 7:24, understood Jesus’ words about “a wise man built his house on the rock.”
Glen Comiso is Senior Director for Institute Affairs in the Office of the President at MIT where he oversees and facilitates Institute-level initiatives in areas such as innovation, industry-engagement, health, and communications. He is on the faculty advisory board of the Octet Collaborative, a Christian study center serving MIT. Glen received a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Quincy with his wife Cindy and their children, Sophia, Tiffany, and Peter.
