Mike and Mona Palompo
Mike Palompo is the founder and senior pastor of New Hope Mililani—historically, the first church plant of New Hope O`ahu—established on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1999. He is the author of the new book God Things: Encounters with Jesus that Transform Us (more details here).
Napoleon Hill said, “Practical dreamers do not quit.” Our guests today have lived God’s dream, by sticking to their calling.
Mike is a proud graduate of Radford High School with the Bicentennial Class of 1976 where he was student council president. He has a B.A. in Psychology from California State University San Francisco, where he graduated summa cum laude; a Masters in Christian Studies from Regent College in Vancouver, BC, (where his favorite professors were Eugene Peterson, J.I. Packer, and Gordon Fee); and he has a Doctor of Ministry degree from King’s Seminary in Los Angeles, under Chancellor Jack Hayford. Mike is a professor at New Hope Christian College—Spiritual Transformation and Personal Evangelism & Discipleship. Mona Palompo has served in ministry along side Mike throughout their marriage. She is also a part time teacher at Waipahu Elementary School. They have three children: Mark, Rachael and Caleb.
