How does a horticulturalist in the Philippines become a Southern Baptist minister in Hawaii? Pastor Jerry Saludez attended Southern Baptist College in Mindanao where he received ministry training before attending the University of the Philippines at Los Banos. He majored in Horticulture. Jerry taught and conducted research for six years before being called to full-time ministry.
Pastor Jerry Saludez married Stella Marie Ibrado. They have three sons.
