What are some of the end-of-life concerns that families should be aware of? When is the best time to talk about these sensitive matters? Who are the best people to give such guidance? What does the Bible say about our last days of life? In the last 15 years of his career, Dr. Craig Nakatsuka focused on caring for the elderly in nursing homes, care homes, and homes. He joins us today.
Dr. Craig Nakatsuka practiced as a physician internist at Kaiser Medical Center for 34 years. He also was part of a palliative care team that conducted advanced planning conversations with hospitalized patients with severe illnesses. He worked for 4 years as a hospice physician and retired at the end of 2020. He’s now a part time practicing physician for the homeless at the Institute of Human Services. Craig is married to Claire. They have four adult sons.
