What motivates a man to give his career to promote deeper public understanding of the value of human life, of motherhood and fatherhood and to identify policies and practices that will protect life and serve both women’s health and family well-being? This is the story of Chuck Donovan.
Charles A. “Chuck” Donovan is president of the Charlotte Lozier Institute. He served as legislative director of the National Right to Life Committee more than three decades ago, worked as a writer for President Reagan, helped to lead the Family Research Council for nearly two decades and most recently has been Senior Research Fellow in Religion and Civil Society at The Heritage Foundation. Chuck earned a bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Notre Dame.
