How does someone go from corporate business and administration to directing an organization, founded by Dan and Pam Chun, that has trained 60,000 adults and youth from hundreds of churches across denominations? Mary Vinson has been the Executive Director of Hawaiian Islands Ministries for 13 years before relinquishing that role. She is now the Honolulu Conference Director. Mary’s extensive background in corporate business and administration was gained from over 20 years in the telecommunications industry as Director of Operations and Customer Care at Sprint PCS Hawaii, Vice President, General Manager for PrimeCo Hawaii and Director of Regulatory Services for the telephone company in Virginia.
Mary Vinson has a BS in Public Administration from Virginia Tech and holds an MA in Human Resources from George Washington University. She and her husband Ken have two children. They reside in Norfolk, Virginia with their English Bulldog, Bernoulli.
