How do you impact the generations that follow to live a full life in Christ? How would the Holy Spirit’s impact be limited by how much your kids feel loved? What has the single most devastating impact on family unity? In his book Maximum Impact: God’s Way, Jimmy Yamada, Jr. engages these questions from a biblical viewpoint filtered through personal experiences in his family.

Jimmy Yamada, Jr. is the chief executive officer at A-1 A-lectrician, a third-generation electrical contracting firm started by his father in 1957 and now currently run by his son. He is the founding pastor of Cedar Assembly of God in Honolulu, Hawaii and the author of God’s Hand in the Life of an Electrician, How to Thrive in an Economic Disaster, God’s Hand in the Life of a Dreamer, and God’s Hand in the Life of a Pastor. He is married to Diana. They have three grown children and five grandchildren.

Scripture: Genesis 18:19 – “God chose Abraham “so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just.”
