
Jeff is the executive director and a fellow at the Sage Hill Institute, an initiative for authentic Christian leadership. He speaks nationally and internationally on a variety of issues including biblical masculinity, fatherhood, spiritual formation, leadership, and relational authenticity. Prior to this, Jeff was the directional leader and co-founder of a church with international reach that grew from four people to more than 4,000 in eight years. Jeff is the co-author of two Gold Medallion award winning resources including Preparing for Marriage. He received his ThM and MDiv from Western Seminary and is a graduate of Yale University where he majored in organizational behavior.
Jeff has served on the boards of several national ministries, including Hawaiian Islands Ministries. He resides in Anchorage, AL with his wife of 24 years, and is the father of six.
Topics: “A Man and His Children,” “Men and Sex,” “The Voice of the Heart” Vicar general and moderator of the Curia of the Roman Catholic diocese of Honolulu (2006-2010), Marc stepped down earlier this year to serve as Coordinator on Homelessness for Hawai‘i under Governor Neil Abercrombie. Marc also served as pastor of St. Pius X and Sacred Heart parishes as well as to Maryknoll School in Honolulu, HI. He was Diocesan Theologian (1993-2010) and Founding Executive Director (1994-1998) of the Hawai‘i Catholic Conference, the public policy arm for the Roman Catholic Church in Hawai‘i which organized for the successful passage of a constitutional amendment, successfully lobbying for legislation for affordable housing and the reduction of domestic violence.
Marc holds a doctorate in Sacred Theology from Gregorian University in Rome, Italy; a license in Sacred Theology, a Master of Arts in Religious Studies, a Bachelor of Sacred Theology from the Catholic University of Louvain, Leuven, “The Homeless – A Community Problem, A Community Solution”
