Colleen Nomura’s dance background began in Hawaii in 1973. After receiving a Education degree from the University of Hawaii, Colleen began her performance career as a dancer and choreographer with Don Ho & Jim Nabors. Later, she spent five years as a performer for Island Breeze of Youth With a Mission.
Colleen Nomira’s diverse background in jazz, ballet & Polynesian dance, along with her desire to spread God’s word, has taken Colleen worldwide, performing for churches, refugee camps, First Nations reservations, hospitals, palaces, and many other venues. Returning from missions, Colleen became the Drama & Dance Director for New Hope Christian Fellowship, pioneering a network of artisans. She casted/choreographed Carman’s Trinity Broadcast Network video filmed in the Hawaiian islands. Colleen has performed in concerts with national Christian recording artists such as Michael W. Smith, Crystal Lewis, Point of Grace, Newsong, For Him, and many other well known artists at the Hawaii Theater. She also performed and choreographed for Ron Kenoly & Benny Hinn’s church and services in Honolulu. Colleen is the President & Founder of a Moments Unforgettable, a Christian Performing Arts Academy & Entertainment Agency, with a mandate to fill Waikiki with the glory of God to impact nations with His Kingdom on earth. She says, “We are also called to raise up Hawaii’s at risk youth & the standard of excellence in the arts to make His Praise Glorious!”
