How does God send a boy who grew up in Boston, earned a degree from a school in Waterville, Maine, to live for 18 years in Nigeria with his wife and four children? This is the story of George Rideout, Jr. whose life intersects with Billy Graham, Roger Babson (founder of Babson College), the historic Park Street Church, the continent of Africa, two renowned foundations, and a school that emerged in Weston, Massachusetts – a school that prepares tomorrow’s leaders – all centered in Jesus Christ, grounded in God’s word.
George Rideout, Jr. graduated from Colby College and studied at Gordon Seminary before moving to Nigeria where he and his wife Mary served as missionary math teachers. George leads the Gravity Research Foundation and Open Church Foundation (both founded by Roger Babson with the strategic partnership of George’s father George Rideout, Sr.). George is also the Chairman of the Board of Veritas Christian Academy.
Scripture: Matthew 28:18 – Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.”
