Who are the Navigators? How has the Navigators ministry impacted a leader in Hawaii toward fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ? Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-19, “All authority in heaven and on earth have been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Ron Kam and his wife Jean are on staff with the Navigators at the University of Hawaii. Ron is a tent maker and has a full-time job in the corporate world. His strong calling to the ministry of discipleship has endured for decades with the Navigators and at Honolulu Christian Church.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:2: “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses, entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others (NIV).”
