Dr. Kuulei Distajo Serna is an Associate Professor at the Institute for Teacher Education for the College of Education at the University of Hawaii and Manoa. Through the years she has worn “many hats” is as often stated. But, what distinguishes her among the elite is that she has worn those hats extremely well. A wife, mother, pastor, musician, graduate student, and wife of a cancer survivor. She graduated from Kamehameha Schools and the University of Hawaii.
