Why would God direct a senior international executive for several multi-billion-dollar companies doing business on six continents to be a bi-vocational pastor in both the United States and the United Kingdom where he holds dual citizenship? How did he become a professor and author? What does he have to say about capitalism in relation to the past and future? This is the story of Dr. Kenneth J. Barnes.

Dr. Kenneth Barnes is the Mockler-Phillips Professor of Workplace Theology and Business Ethics at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. His research and teaching are the intersections of theology and economics and faith at work. He is the author of Redeeming Capitalism. He is married to Debby. They have three grown children and four grandchildren.

1 Corinthians 13:13 Three things will last forever, faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love.
