How do you go from being a hippie, desiring to pursue a career in hedonism and Bohemianism to becoming a devout follower of Jesus Christ? And how do you become a pastor in one of the strongest church movements of the last 50 years?
Alan Leigh is the pastor of Calvary Chapel Wahiawa on the island of Oahu. He graduated from Woodbridge High School in Virginia. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from George Mason University. He was assistant pastor at North Shore Christian Fellowship for 16 years. He earned his fifth year teaching degree from the University of Hawaii. Alan is married to Sonyah and they have 3 children: Ruth, Daniel, and Samuel.
