Sarahn Chhim DeLoach was born in Cambodia. When she was 6 years old her country fell into the hands of the Khmer Rouge communists and their notorious leader Pol Pot. The Khmer Rouge ruled Cambodia from 1975-79 and during these 4 years of communist rule 2 and half to 3 million people–out of a national population of 7 million–died of execution, starvation, and disease. By percentage perhaps the greatest genocide of modern history. Out of this backdrop, Sarahn shares how even in the midst of life’s most horrific tragedies God’s hand is still at work for our good.

Sarahn’s husband, Blane, was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. He met Sarahn while they both attended Union University. Blane and Sarahn were married. Following graduation, Blane attended Seminary in Tennessee and later in California. Blane first pastored in Hawaii in 1999, serving at Ele’ele Baptist Church on Kauai. He is serving as the pastor of Palisades Baptist Church in Pearl City. Blane and Sarahn have four children: Cricket, Zach, Momilani, and Skyelor.

Psalm 56:3 “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
