Putting Out Fires of Hopelessness
Dwight Kahoohanohano

Donald Trump once said, “Without passion you don’t have energy. Without energy, you have nothing.” Our guest today is an energetic man “on fire” for the Lord Jesus Christ. Interestingly, he puts out fires as a fireman. At the same time, the Lord uses him to extinguishes fires of hopelessness in the hearts of those around him.

Dwight “Whitey” Kahoohanohano graduated from Punahou School before attending the University of Hawaii. A veteran firefighter with the Honolulu Fire Department, he is also a Personal Trainer for his company, “VIP Fitness.” In 1992, he was recognized with the Honolulu Fire Department Distinguished Award for Valor. He is married to Marilyn Moniz-Kahoohanohano. They have three children: Gabby, Kanoe and Alohi; and two grandchildren: Ezekiel and Elijah.

“The Lord said to me, ‘You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled’.” Jeremiah 1:12
