When was the last time you were amazed at how God moves in your life? In a way that only God can do I have in studio with me, right now, a pastor/church planter who is also a devoted wife, mother, author and speaker. He’s brought another woman who was born in Haiti who received Christ at the age of 12 in New York and has been a homeschooler for 18 years. and we have a supervisor for HMSA (Hawaii Medical Services Association) who raised her son as a single parent, a speaker and is a vital part of a radio ministry. All from different churches: Hope Chapel Lifespring, Hope Chapel West Oahu and Grace Bible Church. Each with a story of heartbreak to healing.
Michele Okimura and her husband Rob are founding pastors of Hope Chapel Lifespring in Honolulu, Hawaii. A devoted wife and mother of two children who understands the challenges facing families today, she also is the founder and director of Kingdom Families Hawaii, a ministry that creates venues for strengthening families and raising children to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ. She also the author of the book Dancing With Father, which brings healing to the hearts of women. Grace Alarcio was born in Haiti. Her father was in the Coast Guard so they moved a lot. At the age of 12, while living in New York, Grace gave her life to Jesus. She is married to Leonardo: they have 4 children. She has a passion to see women encounter the Father and His love so that they are free to walk in their true identity and bring glory to God. Leslie Sylva was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She’s currently employed at HMSA as the Supervisor of Workforce Training. Leslie attends Grace Bible Church Pearlside, and has been a Christian for more than 30 years. Her passion is in women’s ministries. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, trying out new healthy recipes, and learning about health and nutrition. Leslie lives in Aiea with her son, Lance.
