Poet, actress, and professor Dr. Maya Angelou wrote, “Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.” When Christ supernaturally expands our capacity for love it is with the intensity that goes beyond borders. Gregg and Shawnee Hammer are owners of The Hammer Group, LLP. Gregg has been entertaining Hawaii for many years. He’s positioned himself as Hawaii’s most sought after entertainer, whether it be as emcee for public and private events or entertaining with The Gregg Hammer Band, he is one of Hawaii’s most entertaining people. He is currently part of the Island 98.5 ‘Wake Up Crew’ radio program that can be heard weekday mornings from and can be seen in his stage show in the showroom at Dave & Buster’s Honolulu.
Shawnee moved to Hawaii in 1998 and attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Shawnee started her career in broadcasting, working as on-air talent at Clear Channel Hawaii. After six years with Clear Channel, it was time to move in a different direction and Shawnee started her Bridal Consulting company in 2004 with her husband, Gregg. Shawnee fell in love with the Hawaii Wedding Industry and her company, L’Elegance Bridal Consultants, thrived. Currently known as The Hammer Group, offering professional and entertaining emcee service by Gregg Hammer and one of a kind performances by Gregg Hammer and his band. Like nothing else in Hawaii.
