How does a Naval intelligence professional eventually accept a ministry position as executive assistant pastor of the largest church within its denomination in Hawaii? What lessons has God taught him about leadership? Why go to North Carolina to lead an organization that helps the homeless? Then expand his service to refugees and displaced Syrians living in Lebanon? This is the story of William Cunningham.
William Cunningham is a U.S. Navy veteran serving honorably in multiple conflicts and wars since 1985 with additional time spent in Afghanistan and Iraq as a military liaison to Special Forces units. He is the author of Where I Belong: A Journey Declassified. William is a graduate of the Montreat College with a Masters in the schools executive MBA program. William is married to Amy, and they have three children: Christian, Elizabeth (married to Kevin), and Blake.
